In January 1976 Mario Capaldi assumed artistic
responsibility for removing Carrie's clothing each month.
He gave us two May tales: a play on the word "assault" (try to get away with that these days!) and
introducing her clueless nephew Peter … someone tell him what to do for heaven's sake!

STEVE KINGSTON

In June 1977 Steve Kingston took over and remained with the strip
for the next 11 years during which time Carrie went through a number of "looks".
Kingston's first May Carrie featured an early version of "Pop Idol".
